Well, it hasn’t been a month since my last post. Close, but not quite.
I can blame part of that on computer ills that kept me offline for over a week. The biggest thing I learned during that time? I am most certainly addicted to Facebook…specifically Mafia Wars.
Contrary to popular belief, that doesn’t mean my life has been boring. Also contrary to popular belief, that doesn’t mean my life has been a steady successful ME project. If it were that easy, I’d have been doing this stuff regularly without having to wrap it with a bow and call it a project.
Quick catch-up on the ME Project:
- I still don’t have a good sleep routine. That being said, I am sleeping better.
- Been focusing more on food lately. No, I’m not magically doing great on Weight Watchers. Food has become more of a We Project. Hubby went for his physical and found out he has high blood pressure. His doctor wants him to start following the DASH diet. While we’re still working on the details, we’re already doing better at dining at home. Cutting down on the eating out has been good for our waistlines and our budget. Now I just have to keep moving forward on making things better for all of us.
There has been good news on the health front. I’ve had both an eye exam and a physical this month. Other than the obvious weight and MS issues, all else is looking great. Poor hubby has had to hear my gloat over both my perfect blood pressure and my 20-20 vision. I’ve got MS, yet I can lord good health over people in two very important areas – woohoo! The 20-20 is even sweeter, since I’ve had 2 MS attacks affecting my eyes. I got diagnosed with MS after a bout of optic neuritis, and had double vision during an attack 7 years ago. But here I am, in my mid-40s, and the vision is still great. My only acknowledgement of aging eyes has been adding cute reading glasses to my fashion pallette.
So now it’s time to add regular blogging to my desired routine. I’ll keep you posted (hee hee) on the progress.

I’m a new reader – found you through NaNoBloPoMo. 🙂 What wonderful news about your health! Also, when I changed my eating habits pretty dramatically almost two years ago, I convinced my husband to do it with me. It’s MUCH easier as a “we” project.
