This week is officially MS Awareness Week. There's been a little voice inside of me saying, "You should be blogging every day during MS Awareness Week. You need to do your part to educate and advocate." Then real life gets in the way. I don't sit down and reflect on MS because I'm too busy doing things that MS doesn't prevent me from doing. In a way, I'm acknowledging MS this week by … [Read more...] about MS Awareness Week

Oops, I (Almost) Did It Again
You'd think after living with MS for 11 years that I'd remember the lessons I've learned along the way. Like the importance of staying out of the hot sun in the summertime (in other word, act like a vampire on True Blood without the bloodsucking part). I was concerned when I found out that a character on my favorite soap … [Read more...] about MS and TV
Welcome to the ER
Most multiple sclerosis symptoms and exacerbation don't lead to a trip to the emergency room, but it's better to be prepared. Since people with MS are dealing with more health issues and medicines than many in the population, and since people without MS can end up in the emergency room for all sorts of reasons, it makes sense to have a few things in order just in case. I'm speaking from … [Read more...] about Welcome to the ER
